Meet
Thea
Pronounced as “Tia” is a Khmer American offering OumYoga- a tapestry of Hatha Yoga and iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation in the East Bay of San Francisco and South Bay of Los Angeles. A mother of two teenagers who is re-discovering self and making heartfelt commitments happen. I'm dedicated to advocating for girls rights, especially the rights to education in Cambodia. As a survivor of the Khmer Rouge genocide and having benefited from growing up in the US, I feel it’s my life mission to share my experience and learning with everyone around me and those back in my home country.
I welcome all aspects of you…
01.
Yoga is practiced off and on the mat with most health or physical challenges. Asana postures can be done completely lying down or while seated on a chair if necessary. Maybe you have never been to a studio or that you got hurt from yoga, my approach helps guide you to regain your sense of comfort and well-being beyond the session. As an individual or a loved one joining practice with you, the session is a respect to your needs. A first meeting requires 1.5- 2 hours so we can get oriented with each other.
